Welcome to Girl Tale BJD. This website is operated by Girl Tale BJD. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Girl Tale BJD. By accessing our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website.

1. PRE-ORDER & DEPOSIT AGREEMENT (PARTIAL PAYMENT)

By choosing our Pre-order Deposit Plan (Partial Payment), you explicitly acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following binding conditions:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: The $50.00 AUD upfront deposit is collected exclusively to secure your production slot and allocate factory manufacturing resources. This deposit is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be canceled, transferred, or exchanged after 24 hours from the time of purchase.

  • Balance & Shipping Payment: The remaining balance ($70.00 AUD for the specific head/body variant) plus relevant international shipping fees will be billed once the factory completes production.

  • Forfeiture Clause (14-Day Deadline): You are strictly required to complete the final balance payment within 14 calendar days from the date our automated system invoice/notification email is sent. Failure to clear the balance within this 14-day timeframe without prior written communication will result in immediate order cancellation. In such events, your deposit will be entirely forfeited, and the item will be allocated to standard in-stock inventory for public release.

2. PRODUCT VARIANCES & BJD CRAFTMANSHIP DISCLAIMER

All ball-jointed dolls (BJD), heads, and body parts available on our store are highly sophisticated, custom made-to-order artistic collectibles involving manual resin casting and meticulous hand-craftsmanship.

  • By purchasing, you accept that minor aesthetic characteristics inherent to the manual BJD production process—including but not limited to: faint sanding/buffing lines, microscopic dust particles embedded in the resin, minor faint seam lines, or slight color variances under different photographic lighting—are considered industry-standard normal phenomena.

  • These characteristics do NOT constitute manufacturing defects and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or replacements.

3. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or disputes arising from your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, Australia.

4. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
